All records are a labour of love but once in a while the love runs particularly deep. My daughter Sophie Lee turns 10 later this year. This is my album for her, often about her, sometimes even with her; a collection of songs about family, fatherhood and getting older. It’s unashamedly sentimental. It’s also unashamedly rock’n’roll, upbeat and irreverent.
